my son

gosh time seriously flies. Loken is already 5 months old. 

just about one week old:

he likes sleeping with his arms up:

around 1 month old he lost all the hair on top of his head:

started growing hair at 2 months old:

plus he started getting CHUNKY.

my mom grew a huge zucchini:

started smiling around 2.5 months:

here he is at 13 weeks:

15 weeks:

met my friends daughter:

18 weeks (and 18lbs already, HUGE): 

then we put him in a pumpkin (oct. 24th):

dressed him up for halloween:

went to lego kids fest:

played with my friends dogs at 5 months:

and every night; he laughs at getting naked:

so there's my son! he's going to be 21 weeks on monday. i can't believe it!

its been months!

i will update with pictures of my son soon. I lost all and PLUS some of my pregnancy weight! yes! i still need to tighten my stomach but since i never work out, i bought spanx instead :) haha. okay baby is napping, craft time!

Loken Royce was born June 27th, 2011 at 8:32 a.m. he was 8 lbs 5 oz and 20.8in long!

i went into labor @ 3am and i didn't think it was real til i started timing the contractions and they were coming every 2 and a half minutes. haha!

& daddy cut the cord and watched the ENTIRE thing. he got teary when his head started to crown. i gave birth laying on my left side holding onto the railing and tom holding my right leg up. LOL.

thank god i had a midwife and went completely natural. i only had a heplock in and barely stayed on the monitor. it went smooth and fast! now i'm sore as hell, i had to get some stitches which sucks. i pretty much stood the whole time until my water broke at 8am which made me 10cm and i laid down and started to push right after that. it was incredible! i think everyone should go without the drugs!

so i wore shorts today! except now its suppose to rain from tomorrow until forever. :(

34 weeks.

lost track of days....

I failed at this! the exhaustion of being 8 months pregnant has set in and I don't want to do a thing. I had my baby shower May 1st. it was amazing. I got everything I needed.

most of my friends were there :)

my sister-in-law and I made all the cuppycakes the day before. 80 of them!

my mom and I, figures one of us would close our eyes. HAHA. I love her to death.

So yesterday I made reconstructed two pairs of jeans I bought thrifting into maternity pants... well sort of. the one pair was large enough to still button comfortably, I just took the legs in so they were more fitted and not ugly baggy 'skinny' jeans. I found a perfect pair of pink jeans that I added elastic to the top. I'm so in love. my first pair of colored jeans!!!!! can't beat 3 dollars. I also hemmed a pair of maternity shorts that folded up weird at the bottom, plus they were an awkward length for shorts, so I made them shorter. I'll try to post pictures at some point. Its cupcake baking day!

6 custom orders done. laundry almost done. kitchen clean. rent paid. refrigerator full. I'm tired now.
